What is DotA 1?

Defense of the Ancients (DotA) is a highly competitive custom map created for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. In every match, two teams of five players (The Sentinel and The Scourge) clash in a strategic battle of coordination, skill, and power, aiming to destroy the enemy's stronghold while safeguarding their own.

The Objective of the Game
